Our "Sex Offender of the Day" comes to us yet again from beautiful Spearfish, South Dakota.

Scheller is a registered sex offender who was convicted in the state of Washington as a juvenile for raping a 4-year-old girl.

The heavily pierced felon recently got his own apartment and a job working the graveyard shift at a lumber mill in Spearfish.

He moved to South Dakota earlier this year in February.

Lyndon Nutt Jailed In Child Porn Case

A New Mexico man has been arrested in Texas on child pornography charges following an investigation by agents working with Homeland Security.

Lyndon Harold Nutt, 68, has been charged with 10 counts sexual exploitation of children after experts reportedly uncovered the illicit pictures at his home in Las Cruces.

The suspect, who has been married for 45 years, is also a a commercial bus driver whose regular route includes traveling between El Paso and Midland.

He is now currently residing at the Midland County Jail.

Mom Jailed For Choking Boy Over Facebook Comments

A 46-year-old Florida mother was arrested on Memorial Day for choking a teenage boy at a mall because his Facebook comments upset her daughter.

Debbie Piscitella, of St. Petersburg, reportedly chocked the unidentified teen at the Tyrone Square Mall on Monday and was quickly arrested after the boy called police.

Piscitella, who has been charged with child abuse, was released from jail on $5,000 bail.

Adam South Jailed In Repeated Rape Of Girl, 5

South Dakota state police have charged a Dell Rapids man on accusations that he raped a 5-year-old girl.

Adam Howard South, 39, has been charged with eight counts of rape following a tip from the Department of Social Services.

The alleged assaults are said to have occurred repeatedly between August 11, 2011 and May 24, 2012.

Bond was set at $500,000.

Officer Rod Bretches Charged With Child Porn

A 48-year-old police officer in Colorado has been charged with child pornography and two other charges of peeping after a search warrant was served at his home.

Rod Bretches was taken into custody after an unidentified woman learned of a video surfacing online that reportedly showed her taking a shower at his home in Loveland.

She then contacted the Loveland police department who in turn served a search warrant at his home where they reportedly located child pornography on a computer belonging to Mr. Bretches.

The jailed (and then quickly released) officer had been employed by the city for more than 19 years.
