Police have captured a suspect in the theft of two pickups and an assault on a Multnomah County Sheriff's deputy.
Lt. Jason Gates, spokesman for the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, said 22-year-old Ronald Michael Powers was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Thursday as he tried to escape from a house in the 800 block of Northeast Hacienda Court in Gresham where his 15-year-old girlfriend lived.
