They met at each other's homes, in cars and in public spaces.
They conversed on MySpace.
The young males met "all over town" for consensual sex with girls ages 12, 12 and 14 during an 11-month period ending in October.
On Thursday, Stark County prosecutors released the indictment of a 22-year-old man and juvenile charges against a dozen teenagers for sexual conduct with the girls. The cases stem from an investigation launched in Massillon last fall.
Prosecutors say none of the defendants forced, threatened or coerced the girls. The charges are based solely on the girls' ages.
The suspects were identified as Mario Elder, Perez McCole, Calvin Smith and DeVoe Torrence.
