State police said today they have wrapped up a nearly four-month investigation into a child pornography ring operating in Delaware with the arrests of ten men, including a former state Department of Correction officer and emergency medical technician.
State police identified the ringleader as Paul R. Thielmann, 29, of Shortly Road south of Georgetown.
Thielmann, who was the first to be arrested, was charged Feb. 23 with 10 counts of felony sexual exploitation of a child, nine felony counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of felony conspiracy and one count each of felony sexual solicitation of a child, indecent exposure and conspiracy -- all misdemeanors.
