A North Platte man was charged Friday with first-degree sexual assault for an alleged sexual assault on his then 7-year-old cousin.
Andrew Allen, 20, was 17 at the time, but will be tried as an adult, court officials said. Allen was baby-sitting the girl in her home when the alleged abuse occurred, police said.
