A Campton man whose case was moved from Belknap to Grafton County due to jurisdictional questions has been convicted of attempting to solicit sex from a person he believed to be a minor using the Internet.
Grafton County Attorney Rick St. Hilaire confirmed that Morgan Stickney III, 36, of Cox Road in Campton was found guilty of prohibited use of a computer by a Grafton County jury.
The crime is a Class B felony, punishable by a maximum of 31⁄2-7 years in prison.
