MySpace Meeting Ends In Robbery

A 24-year-old man told deputies about 9:50 p.m. Monday that he came to Sangalang Park to see a man he met on MySpace, deputies reported. The two men met and were walking in the park when another man hit the victim in the head with a bat, deputies reported.

The victim ran to his vehicle but tripped and fell; he recovered his cell phone and keys, but he believed he dropped $50 he had in his pocket, deputies reported.
