Officers with the Punta Gorda Police Department have arrested a 19-year-old Pennsylvania man after they say he traveled to Southwest Florida and had an "inappropriate relationship" with a 14-year-old girl he met on Myspace.com.
On July 27, the Punta Gorda Police Department received a report of a possible sexual battery of a 14-year-old girl.
The police investigation revealed the female victim met the suspect, 19-year-old Tyler Stancker through an internet chat room on MySpace.com several months ago.
