Oregon State Police detectives arrested a Klamath Falls man Friday on charges he abused a 14-year-old girl he arranged to meet through a MySpace account over a year ago, allegedly claiming to be a 15-year-old boy with the nickname "Boomalicious." They also believe there could be other victims, and are seeking to find them.
Joseph Polk, 36, was lodged in the Klamath County Jail on charges that included second-degree sodomy, sexual abuse, attempted sodomy and attempted sexual abuse, as well as contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor, said OSP Sgt. Jason Westfall in Klamath Falls.
The two-day investigation began after a youth counselor in the area told police the victim had disclosed she made contact with someone in October of 2005 who said he was a 15-year-old.
