Perverted Justice Nabs Sex Suspects

Bay Area authorities arrested 29 sexual predator suspects last weekend in Petaluma during a six-month investigation of online sex crimes against children. A majority of the suspects are from the Bay Area, and come from all walks of life.

The sting was carried out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and involved authorities from the Petaluma Police Department, Sonoma County Sheriff's Department, Sonoma County District Attorney's Office, California Bureau of Investigation and the Santa Rosa Police Department.

The agencies teamed with a volunteer organization called Perverted Justice to attract potential sexual predators. Volunteers from the organization posed as boys and girls ages 10 to 13 in Internet chat rooms.

Of course we all know what follows, Fernando Bernal, Joseph Roisman, Yancy Wallace, and Andrew Jordan all were arrested.

Myspace profiles for all of them as well as the rest of the story.
