Prison For MySpace Molester

From 2007:

Calling him “a parent's worst nightmare,” a Bucks County judge Tuesday sentenced Shawn Little to six to 15 years in a state prison for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy he met on MySpace.

“This is the kind of crime that makes you want to take your home computer and hit it with a sledgehammer,” said county Judge Albert Cepparulo. “What you did to this child was despicable. You stole his youth.”

Little, 26, of Bristol Township pleaded guilty in October to sexually assaulting the child three times last year. His sentencing was postponed until this week for a Megan's Law evaluation.

In a separate hearing before the sentencing, Cepparulo ruled that Little meets the criteria of a sexually violent predator and will be subjected to lifetime police monitoring and community notification.

Prosecutors said Little posted his profile on the popular Internet message board stating that he was 14. After several conversations with the victim, Little changed his story, telling the child he was 17, then 19 years old.
