Radio D.J Arrested On Child Porn Charges

State police investigators searched the home of a Jacksonville photographer Thursday and seized thousands of computer images they say depict children “engaging in sexually explicit conduct.”

Joseph Louis Maglie, 45, was released after posting $ 5, 000 bond and will be arraigned Dec. 5 in Pulaski County District Court.

According to the arrest report, investigators with the state police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force obtained the warrant to search Maglie’s home at 4619 John Harden Drive in Jacksonville during an investigation into individuals distributing images of child sexual abuse over the computer.

“Investigators seized approximately 2. 5 terrabytes of data from Mr. Maglie’s residence,” according to a news release issued by the Little Rock Police Department, whose investigator Jennifer Hurd is assigned to the state police task force.

The release said that 2. 5 terrabytes of data is equivalent to the amount of data that could be stored on 544 single layer DVDs.

“During the execution of the search warrant, Mr. Maglie was found in possession of child sexual abuse images and videos,” the release states.
