Sex Offender Charged With Rape

Full story and MySpace profile:

A Bremerton man faces the possibility of life imprisonment following charges by county prosecutors that he raped a 17-year-old girl in early November.

If convicted of second-degree rape, Brandon G. Roy, 25, a registered sex offender, will serve a life sentence without the possibility of parole, the county prosecutor's office said Monday.

Because Roy has a previous serious sex offense conviction coupled with the new charges, he faces the life sentence as established under Washington's "two strikes" law for sex offenses.
