The Genesee County Sheriff's Office held a press conference Tuesday morning discussing details on the arrest of a suspected child molester, who lived in the Lansing area for a number of years.
On searching the suspect's house, authorities found 75 VHS tapes, more than 200 DVDs, two computers worth of pornographic material and a sexually explicit diary dating back to 1996.
The suspect admitted to four recent molestations of family members or kids of friends, adding he started molesting children around the age of ten. The 33-year-old suspect, who attended Waverly High School in the early 90s, may have been involved in up to 70 molestations.
Kevin Odette was charged with the crime.
