Tattoo Artist Accused Of Rape

New York State Police arrested Richard J. Landon, 30, of 5533 Route 96, Romulus for one count of rape in the third degree and two counts of criminal sexual act in the third degree.

State police said they initiated the investigation in November 2005, when Landon was accused of having sexual conduct with a 15-year-old girl. The alleged incident occurred in the Village of Ovid. The charges are all Class E felonies.

Landon was also charged with seven counts of unlawfully dealing with a child second degree. He is accused of tattooing five male and female children between the ages of 15 and 17 from March to December 2006 at his tattoo business on Route 96 in the Town of Waterloo.
