The sentencing hearing for a former teacher and pastor convicted of sexual assault has been delayed.
Paul Tuck, 45, of Brampton was to be sentenced Friday, but issues arose involving a pre-sentence report, so the hearing was put over. He will appear in court before Mr. Justice James Blacklock May 8 to set a date for the hearing.
Tuck was found guilty in January of one count of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old student in 2006 while he was a teacher and pastor at the Mississauga Christian Academy. He has since resigned.
