A Witcher Creek man was arrested early Thursday on charges he had sex with a 5-year-old girl.
Johnny Allen Derrix, Jr., 18, was taken into custody about 12:30 a.m. at his home by officers from the Quincy State Police detachment, according to a release from State Police.
The girl's mother told police on Wednesday that Derrix had sex with the girl, the release said.
