Brooke's Uncle Now Person Of Interest

Police: We are making progress:

Even though missing Brooke Bennett's uncle, Michael Jacques, has been charged in what police call an unrelated case they are now calling him a "person of interest" in her disappearance.

In that separate case, Jacques has pleaded not guilty to aggravated sexual assault against a minor and is currently in custody awaiting bail set at $250,000 bail.

Court papers recently released, describe a "program" allegedly used by Jacques to coerce the minor into having sex.

According to police, the victim, a relative of Jacques, told them during an interview she was recruited into what was called the “Breckenridge program” at about age 8 or 9 and that Jacques had been assigned by the program’s “president” as her “trainer.”

He allegedly forced her to perform sexual acts over the course of several years and that they ended only but a few weeks ago. She told police she received phone calls and e-mails from individuals inside the “Breckenridge program” and had met three others from the program.
