Man Arrested In Child Pornography Case

Investigation originally began over allegations of sex abuse:

A Nebraska man was arrested and charged this past Thursday following an investigation that originally began in October of 2007.

According to police, the case began when they obtained information regarding Martin Linn, 25 of North Plate, and a possible link to him and the sexual assault of three children that he regularly babysat.

Initially, they did not have enough information to arrest Linn at the time but later received more information that he had child pornography on his computer.

After seizing the computer, a crime lab proceeded to dig deeper into the suspect’s hard drive and notified officers that there were in fact child pornography images on his computer.

According to the affidavit it is also alleged that Linn kept a diary and had wrote of his affections for the children who were ages 2, 3 and 4.

Linn’s bond was set at $50,000 and he is due back in court on July 3rd.
