Took off in car after attack:
Police in New Jersey have charged a teenager after she stabbed her boyfriend’s 12-year-old niece over comments that were made on MySpace.
18-year-old Stephanie Torres, of Dover was charged with aggravated assault and weapons possessions charges and is being held on $75,000 bail.
According to police, Torres stabbed the 12-year-old three times, once in the neck, once in the arm and twice in her rib area with an inch-long knife. After the attack she took off in her car where she was later arrested.
The victim is in stable condition and is expected to be released.
