A North Carolina man is currently residing in jail after allegedly raping a 19-year-old woman he met through MySpace.
Chase Rhodes, 19, of Thomasville, has been charged with one count of 2nd degree forcible rape, one count of 2nd degree forcible sex offense and one count attempted 2nd degree sex offense.
Police say Rhodes and the victim had been messaging each other back and forth for around two week before the alleged rape took place.
Bail was set at $100,000.
I went to high school with this kid, and it's kind of scary to think that he use to "hit on me" and make sexual comments towards me and alot of the girls i went to school with. but i never thought anything of it because he never came off as that type, we all just kinda laughed at him and pretty much thought he was just a loser trying to get laid. i can't believe this!
