Sharnique Jones Accused Of Killing Daughter, Hurting Son

Missouri--A 20-year-old mother has been arrested on murder charges after police say she suffocated her 3-month-old daughter, Shaquir Jones-Boyd, and repeatedly injured her 4-month-old son.

Sharnique Jones, 20, of Pine Lawn, initially caught the eye of the medical staff there who had noted that she had been continuously taking her son to the hospital. You see, he was always turning blue and was unable to muster a breath.

Concerned, they contacted authorities who in turn questioned Jones.

According to investigators, Jones allegedly told them that she had placed a pillow over the face of her now dead daughter and suffocated her. She also apparently was attempting to do the same to her son.

Jones was ultimately taken into custody on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Jacob Myran Wrecks Daughter's Sleepover

Victim was only 8:

A 25-year-old man won't be winning Minnesota's "father of the year" award after being accused by police of getting wasted, then crawling up his daughter's bunk bed and sexually assaulting her best friend, an 8-year-old.

The good dad, Jacob Myran, of Zumbrota, has been charged with first and second-degree criminal sexual conduct and could even be facing more charges since the police have now confiscated his laptop which they say he used to access child pornography.

Normally I wouldn't add a profile such as his since it's essentially non-existent, however because of the severity of the alleged crime I believe it's definitely worthy of a post here.

At least Myran can now finally add at a picture to his profile.

Timothy Wade Allen Faces Rape Charges

Victims younger than 16, police say:

North Carolina--A 31-year-old Burlington man has been taken into police custody on one count of statutory rape of a child and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.

Timothy Wade Allen is accused of partaking in those alleged incidents which involved two young girls believed to be under the age of 16.

Bond was set at $200,000 for Mr. Allen.

Police: Christopher Kidd Used MySpace To Rape Teen

And brought along a friend:

A Corbin, Kentucky man and a juvenile have both been arrested after police say they used MySpace to lure and rape a 15-year-old.

Christopher Wayne Kidd, 24, and the unidentified 17-year-old are believed to have used the site to set up a meeting with the girl, where the two allegedly sodomized and raped her.

Both suspects have been charged with first-degree rape and sodomy.

Bond was set at $100,000 cash for Kidd.  

MySpace Contact Leads To Arrest

Parents of alleged victim credited by police:

California--A 24-year-old man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly attempted to meet a 12-year-old girl using MySpace.

Maciej Wieslaw Lata, of Chico, was apprehended by officers after an investigation revealed that he had been making "inappropriate" advances to the young girl through her profile.

Police then took over the account of the girl and ultimately snagged their suspect.

The parents of the young minor are being credited by officers for the arrest of Lata, as they are the ones who had initially contacted authorities after monitoring her MySpace page.

Thomas Washingtion Arrested In Attempted Child Rape At Daycare

Daycare owner's husband walked in on incident, say police:

A 19-year-old man St. Louis man has been charged one count of first-degree attempted statutory sodomy and one count of first-degree attempted statutory rape after being accused of attempting to molest a 3-year-old girl at the Dependable Home Day Care in St. Louis.

Police say the suspect, Thomas Washington, tried to assault the child but failed when the husband of the Day Care Owner walked in on the incident and stopped it. He immediately contacted police.

Although Washington was not employed by the center, he was said to have been there because his mother is friend's with the owner.

As you can tell by looking on his above MySpace profile, Mr. Washington was a sex obsessed nut case who also has a thing for gospel music.

Bryan Vacha Charged In Drunken Sexual Assault

Nebraska--A 25-year-old Lincoln man appeared in court on Tuesday on first-degree sexual assault charges after allegedly dragging an intoxicated woman to his room and having sex with her while she was passed out.

Bryan Vacha, who was arrested Thursday for the incident, was quickly released after posting $25,000 bond.

Police say they have recovered images of the incident taken by a camera.

Tyler Olson & Andrew Smith Charged In Kiddy Porn Case

Examination recovered files, say police:

California--Two Vacaville men were taken to the Solano County jail on Thursday for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Police say they arrested both Tyler James Olson, 25, and Andrew Kelton Smith, 23, after serving a search warrant at a residence earlier this month.

A forensic examination purportedly uncovered numerous files containing child pornography.

Teacher Jessica Wishnask Accused Of Taking Indecent Liberties With Student

North Carolina--A 27-year-old language arts teacher has resigned from her position at the Williston Middle School in Wilmington, after being charged with inappropriately touching a 15-year-old student.

Jessica Bailey Wishnask, who had two previous suspensions prior to her recent resignation, was found in a parked car (seats down) with a 15-year-old boy by a police officer who noted the two had been "in intimate contact" with each other.

She has been released from jail after posting the necessary $40,000 bond.

Police: Garret Matthew Mason Killed Anne Reed & Kylie Leyva

Suspect held on 2 million dollar bond:

Police in Missouri have arrested a 17-year-old teenager on two counts of first-degree murder after he allegedly stabbed two other teens to death at a home in Nevada.

Garret Matthew Mason, of Nevada, who pleaded not guilty in court yesterday, is accused of killing both Anne E. Reed, 18, and Kylie M. Leyva, 14, sometime on Sunday night.

Witnesses who spoke with police said Mason had come to their home on Sunday with blood on his clothes and body and reportedly asked them to say that he had been with them for the past several hours.

Mason is then alleged to have changed his clothes and put them (along with a backpack) in the truck of his vehicle. Those items were later discovered by police.

He is currently being held on a $2 million bond.

Man Arrested For Sex Assault Of MySpace Girl

Mother found name, address while searching in bedroom:

A 20-year-old California man is currently residing at the Fresno County Jail after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl he met using MySpace.

Luis Javier Bernabe, of Fresno, was apprehended by police after an investigation revealed that he was housing a possible runaway.

Bernabe, who had met the girl several months ago on MySpace, is believed to have picked the girl up where she had been living and took her back to his place where he later sexually assaulted her.

Charles Dunlop Arrested In MySpace Sex Case

Victim says suspect knew she was only 13:

Maine--A Bangor man faces possible kidnapping charges after being arrested by police in late April after they say he took a 13-year-old New York girl he had met using MySpace across several state lines for sexual purposes.

Charles Dunlop, 19, who met the young girl roughly 6 months ago, is believed to have had sex with her approximately five times before eventually dropping her off at a Pennsylvania mall and fleeing.

Although Dunlop told authorities that he "believed she was 18", court documents say the girl indicated that he knew she 13 and in fact kept her laptop when he dropped her off because "it had his profiles on it."

Stephen Morais Arrested In iPhone Child Porn Case

Arkansas--A 50-year-old Fayetteville man has been arrested after police say he used his iPhone to take naked pictures of children as young as 3.

The case against the suspect, Stephen David Morais, began when officers received a tip from an acquaintance of Morais who had told them that he possessed "inappropriate photographs" of two local girls at his apartment.

After seizing several items, including four laptops and two iPhones, investigators discovered that Morais had been in possession of numerous pictures of young children between 5 & 8 engaged in sexual activity.

He has since admitted to the allegations, say police.

Tiffany Toribio Confesses To Killing Son

Then buried him in park, say police:

A 23-year-old Albuquerque woman has been arrested after she allegedly confessed to police that she suffocated her 3-year-old son as he slept.

Tiffany Toribio, is believed to have killed her son, Tyruss "Ty" Toribio, sometime on May 13th by placing her hand over his little mouth and nose and suffocating him. As the boy lay there dying, she began to have "second thoughts" and subsequently performed CPR on him. 

After reviving him, Toribio told police that she had second thoughts again and one last time placed her hand over his mouth and nose and killed him.

She then buried her son underneath the bridge at the playground in Albuquerque.

Toribio had been living in the park after she had been kicked out of her mother's home, who reportedly had thrown her out because she was "ignoring the boy and withholding affection".

Jason Browder Charged With Child Porn

Bond set at one million:

Illinois--A lengthy investigation conducted by the Murphysboro Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff's Office has landed a 31-year-old man in jail on child porn charges.

A search warrant revealed that Jason Alan Browder, of Murphysboro, possessed numerous videos and images of children "well under the age of 18".

The search, which was conducted on May 7, subsequently led to Browder's incarceration with his bond set at at a massive $1,000,000.

Police say the investigation continues.

UPDATE: Browder's girlfriend, Amanda Bastien, 25, also arrested in connection with the case.

Dustin Lapradd Charged In Child Porn Investigation

One of the more active traders, say police:

A former student enrolled at the University of Virginia has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Dustin James Lapradd, 23, has been charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography after detectives executed a search warrant in April at his dorm room.

According to the investigators, Lepradd's IP address had been traced to his personal computer located on the UVA premises, which was also one of the most active addresses trading child pornography over the Internet.

In fact, one video that Lepradd is alleged to have possessed was that of fully naked girl under the age of 5 being abused in a bathtub.

He is currently free on bond.

Teacher Stephanie Walter Charged After MySpace Contact

Could face up to 20 years:

West Virgina--A series of sexually explicit text messages on both a 14-year-old male's MySpace page and cell phone as well as an "incident in a closet" have led to the arrest of his 27-year-old English teacher.

Stephanie Jo Walters, of Hedgesville, is believed to have sent the minor various messages "of a sexual nature" to him beginning in February. Later on, he told investigators that he also had been receiving messages of the same type on his MySpace page.

The "relationship" then began to grow even further two months later, when Mrs. Walters and her alleged 14-year-old crush took part in a sorted rendezvous at a storage closet during lunch hours at the Mussleman Middle School, where Walters taught.

According to Your4State.com:

"Mrs. Walters approached him and lead him to a janitor's closet in the school. He stated that they kissed and that she allowed him to touch her breasts. He stated that he did not put his hands under her shirt. He also stated that Mrs. Walters touched his chest and arms while they kissed."

And equally as important:

The investigator says he was able to view several explicit messages on the boy's cell phone and MySpace page that were sent by Mrs. Walters.

A female student also reported the incident(s) to police after Walters allegedly confided in her.

Walters has been charged with one count of sexual abuse by a person of trust to a child. She was quickly released from after posting the necessary $20,000 bond and has since waived her right to a preliminary hearing.

Music Minister Paul Berrell Accused Of Sex Crime With Minor

North Carolina--A music minister at the St. Eugene Catholic Church, in North Asheville, has been charged with attempting to take indecent liberties with a minor.

The incident that 29-year-old Paul Lawrence Berrell is accused of is believed to have occurred at his personal residence sometime on April 21st.

A parent had contacted police to report the whole incident.

On his above MySpace profile, Berrell writes that he is "a published composer" who released an album last year, "This Little Boy: A Christmas Collection."

UPDATE II: John Schneider, pastor of the St. Eugene Catholic Church, resigned suddenly on Tuesday following obstruction of justice charges. Police allege he entered Berrel's apartment in May and deleted "hundreds of child pornographic images" in order to foil the investigation.

Police: Michael Dean Bullington Killed Ashlin Munday & Daniel Smith

Children witnessed the whole incident:

Missiouri--A 23-year-old Hazelwood man is dead today after shooting himself in the head, but not before he took the innocent lives of his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend with him.

Police say Michael Dean Bullington shot to death both Ashlin Munday, 23, and Daniel Smith, 24, in front of three children (Bullington and Munday's daughter Taylor, 3, and son Landon, 2, as well as Smith's son Carter, 3).

After slaying the two, Selfish Bullington got in his car and drove a short distance, grabbed his shotgun, pointed it to his head and pulled the trigger.

Bullington, who I'm sure now resides in hell, had reportedly been upset after Munday kicked him out of their home recently.

Bullington's mother was quoted in the St. Louis Dispatch as saying:

"That was his first love, they'd been together since they were about 16," Hatch said. "She abruptly kicked him out. He wasn't expecting it. He loved her and he loved those kids so much."

Which is of course is utter nonsense and I'm sure it might make her feel better about the whole situation, but of none of this is remotely true. I can't figure out how if he loved her so much, why would he then go around and kill her?  Now their kids have no mommy, or daddy...that's not love.

Sounds to me it's more like hate, mixed in with a whole of selfishness. Which is usually a recipe for murder.

Bryan Hall Arrested For Killing "MySpace Friend"

Man used rock to kill victim, say police:

Nevada--In the ever deteriorating crime-ridden city of Las Vegas, a 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged by police with the murder of a fellow MySpace friend on the premises of Caesar's Palace.

Bryan Hall, 28, appeared in court early Monday morning in the killing Bradley Flamm, 27, who police say previously knew each other when they worked together last year at the Trevi Italian restaurant inside the Forum Shops at the hotel.

While detective don't exactly know the motives resulting in the unfortunate incident, they do say that a rock had been used in the slaying.

Authorities have also speculated that MySpace was used to link both the suspect and the victim as Hall is rumored to have listed Flamm as a friend.

Kenneth Scott Courtney Arrested In Child Porn Investigation

A Florida man has been arrested by police on 500 counts of possession of child pornography.

Kenneth Scott Courtney, 37, of Riverview, was apprehended by officers after he allowed police to enter his home and preview his computer. 

Some of the purported images recovered were said to be of children three years of age, states WFTS-TV, an ABC affiliate.

A tip to law enforcement blew the case wide open against the computer programmer who also happens to own the website, "aciasoftware.com".

Matthew Brewer Arrested On Child Porn Charges

Numerous videos & images recovered:

A Jacksonville, Florida man could face up to 10 years in federal prison after being indicted by a grand jury on possession of child pornography.

Matthew Brewer, 29, allegedly possessed "numerous videos and images" on his personal computer depicting various children engaged in sexually explicit acts.

Brewer is scheduled to appear before a federal judge on Tuesday.

Illinois--A federal grand jury has indicted a Champaign man on three counts of receiving child pornography.

Michael Piccioli, 25, is believed to have used a p2p network to trade the illegal images between August and October of late last year.

School Employee John McGarry Charged In Child Porn Case

Suspect worked with district since 2003:

New Hampshire--Police in Londonderry have arrested a speech pathologist, who had also worked in the the local school districts, on child pornography charges.

John McGarry, 43, was arrested by the FBI last week on a single count of possession of child pornography.

Because the nature of the investigation is still on-going, a judge agreed to keep the warrant barred from the public for 120 days.

Police: Teacher Jenson Seifert Admits To Abusing Boy

Victim reportedly abused multiple times:

Alaska--A 25-year-old Christian school teacher has been charged by police on 14 felony counts of sexual abuse of a minor. 

Police say Jenson Seifert, of Anchorage, abused the 14-year-old boy multiple times which allegedly started during an overnight youth trip to the city of Alyeska.

Seifert, who teaches 7th and 8th grade at the Birchwood Christian School in Chugia, is currently residing at the Anchorage jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Seifert has allegedly admitted to the allegations.

Tanner Stickney & Rhonda Bayes Arrested In Child Sex Sting

Federal authorities arrested a Washington D.C. man on Friday after they say he flew to the state of Florida to pay a woman whom he had been corresponding with online to have sex with young boy.

The FBI says they learned of the suspect, 29-year-old Tanner Stickney, after they had previously arrested another individual on child pornography charges who subsequently later told them that Stickney was on his way to Orlando, Florida to have sex with the boy. 

Apparently he had been bragging about it on an online chat room.

Investigators say they had to act quickly especially after they had earlier raided his home and discovered a video of him having sex with another young boy.

The woman who had been offering up the child for sex in exchange for money was identified in documents as 39-year-old Rhonda Bayes, who was also arrested on Friday.

According to the D.C. Fox affiliate:

"They asked her who she was, questioned her and put her in cop car," said a man who identified him self as her boyfriend at their Florida home.

The boyfriend said it was all about money.

"As far as I was concerned, they had minimal text messaging contact," the man said. "The only time she was texting him was when we needed money for food. He has good job. She got him to send $50. I didn't know what she had to say to him to get the $50."

Stickeny is expected to be extradited back to D.C to face criminal charges.

Police: Christopher Mundell Raped Girl, 2

Then slashed her with knife:

A 22-year-old Massachusetts man has been arrested after police say he raped a 2-year-old girl and then slashed her thighs with a steak knife.

Christopher Mundell, of Athol, was taken into custody after the the mother of the child arrived home and found Mundell sleeping and covered with blood. She then rushed into her child's room and reportedly found "slash wounds" on her thigh.

The toddler was quickly taken to the hospital where it was discovered she had been raped.

Mundell had been babysitting the child when the alleged incidents occurred.

Christopher Selfridge Accused Of Molesting Girl, 12

Police in North Dakota have arrested a Fargo man on accusations that he repeatedly sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl.

The case against suspect Christopher Wayne Selfridge, 22, began when the alleged victim told authorities that molestations started to happen immediately after Selfridge moved in with her and mother.

According to The Fargo Forum:

"She told police when Selfridge would come into her room at night and molest her she would pretend to be asleep hoping that he would go away."

The girl eventually told her mother in turn confronted Selfridge who at first denied the allegations but then later told the girl, "I'm sorry for everything I did to you."

If convicted Selfridge could face up to 30 years in prison.

In other stupid mother's letting strangers stay with daughter's news, Patrick Brewington, 23, of Texas, was arrested for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl around 30 times after her mother let the Killeen man stay with her and her daughter.

Amazingly, when the girl told her mother what had happened she dismissed the allegations and Brewington continued to abuse her.

Joshua Threlkeld Used MySpace To Lure Girls

Suspect admits to crime, calls himself "sick":

A California man has been arrested after allegedly posing as a 14-year-old girl on MySpace and then subsequently having sex with one of them.

Joshua David Threlkeld, 32, is scheduled to be arraigned on charges of kidnapping to commit rape; aggravated sexual assault of a minor by force; penetration by force, violence, duress, menace or fear; communicating with a minor with the intent to commit a specified offense; and arranging a meeting with a minor.

Police believe Threlkeld posed as a girl named "Sara Miller", and convinced them to pose for a man named "Josh", who of course was the suspect himself. Later, he would pick them up and take them to his home in Palm Springs.

Threlkeld is believed to have used the MySpace name, "Model-508 Studios," to solicit more young girls for nude modeling work.

Police: Preschool Teacher Andrew Glidwell Raped Child At Church

Second child assaulted at church this past week:

A substitute teacher at the Children First Preschool in Hendersonville, Tennessee, has been charged with raping one of his students, a 4-year-old child.

Police say, Andrew C. Glidwell, 18, raped the little girl sometime on Friday at the First United Methodist Church, where the school is located.

Clidwell, who is being held on a $150,000 bond, has been charged with two counts of sexual battery of a child.

Sadly, this is the second alleged crime this past week that has occurred at that preschool, which reportedly houses up to 160 children.

Melissa Songer Arrested For Sex With Boy, 13

Woman could face up to 5 years in prison:

Missouri--A Kirksville woman has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of first degree statutory rape after she allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old boy.

Melissa Songer, 25, of Kirksville, is accused of having sex with the minor sometime last September.

Songer, who states she is currently engaged on her above MySpace profile, could face up to 5 years in prison if convicted.

MySpace Meeting Leads To Rape Charges

A MySpace meeting in the state of Washington has resulted in second-degree rape charges.

Richard Gordon Wheeler, 52, of Auburn, is alleged to have gone over to the woman's apartment and poured her a shot of mescal. After drinking it, the alleged victim noticed that the liquid her in her glass was a bit darker than the one he had been drinking, states court papers.

According to The Seattle Times:

"The woman told detectives her memory became foggy and the next thing she remembers Wheeler was performing a sex act on her as she lay naked on her bed, the charging papers say. She told him to stop and when he refused, she hit him and he laughed, the papers say. Wheeler allegedly then had intercourse with the woman and pulled out clumps of her hair when she resisted, according to the charging documents."

The 48-year-old woman was then taken to a hospital where she was examined by a nurse who found indications of rape.

Wheeler, who is currently in jail, denies the allegations.

Kirk Demeyer Arrested For Rape Of Child

Authorities anticipate federal charges:

Arkansas--A 50-year-old Mountain Home man has been jailed on a 1 million dollar bond after being charged with four counts of rape of a prepubescent girl and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Kirk Harry Demeyer was taken into custody after local and federal agents searched his residence and recovered evidence pertaining to their investigation.

While there isn't much to Mr. Demeyer's MySpace profile, I thought it was worthy of a post considering the horrific allegations.

Paul Struckman Charged In Sex Assault Of Girl, 5

A 33-year-old Texas man, who was arrested several months ago, has recently been identified as a suspect in a series of sexual assaults involving a 5-year-old girl.

Paul Keith Struckman, of Arlington, has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault, and two counts of prohibited sexual conduct after the victim told authorities that Struckman assaulted her "every time" she was with him.

Bond has been set at $5.25 million, according to The Waco Tribune.

Gustav Sawvell Charged In Child Molestation Case

Alleged incident occurred this weekend:

South Carolina--A Johnston man is currently behind bars tonight after being arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor under 16 years of age.

Gustav Paul Sawvell, 37, is alleged to have molested a young girl who is said to be either 13 or 14 sometime over the weekend.

The alleged victim was taken to a local hospital on Saturday where she was released after being treated.

On his above MySpace profile, Sawvell writes that he is married and a "proud parent".

Teacher Geneva Henry Charged After MySpace Contact

A former teacher who taught at the Jupiter Christian School in Florida has been charged with lewd and lascivious conduct after allegedly sending sexually suggestive text messages over MySpace to a 14-year-old student of hers.

According to ABC TV affiliate WPBF, an arrest reports states that 29-year-old Geneva Henry, of North Palm Beach, began communicating with the minor over MySpace around Christmas and sent the student messages like:

"I want to rip all of your clothes off and have sex with you to the point of ecstasy."

"I want to kiss you all over."

"I want to have sex with you."

Henry also told the teenager that she had previously cheated on her husband on two different occasions because he had been "flirting with another girl".

In the end, the good teacher was arrested after admitting to authorities that she did in fact have a crush on the young 14-year-old boy. Again, she was 29.

Haines City High School math teacher Allen Guerin, 28,  was also apprehended by police after his wife discovered that her husband had wrote on his MySpace page that he was falling in love with a 16-year-old student.

Police: Firefighter Justin Weaver Admits Molesting Baby

A Rochester, Illinois volunteer firefighter has allegedly admitted to molesting a 13-month-old baby after being indicted by a grand jury on child pornography charges.

Justin Weaver, 24, who is also alleged to have molested at least one other child, was found to be in possession of a total of 4,080 images of child pornography that had been recovered on several computers believed to have been accessed by him.

The case against Weaver purportedly started on New Year's Eve when he confessed to his wife and friends that he had been viewing child pornography. During a subsequent conversation Weaver told another friend of his that he had sexually assaulted her 13-month-old son while he baby sat him last fall.

According to The State Journal Register:

"One family member told police Weaver justified his abuse of the 13-month-old, stating, “that’s not abuse, I didn’t hurt him,” and that “I didn’t hurt him, he was asleep,” the court documents say."

The other victim Weaver allegedly admitted to molesting was a 7-year-old relative.

Larry Walters Arrested In Deadly Stabbing Of David Shern

A Loveland, Colorado teen has been arrested after police believe he fatally stabbed a 34-year-old man to death at park near a local high school.

According to reports, Larry James Walters, 19, stabbed to death the victim, David Shern, around 9:45 p.m last Thursday. He was quickly rushed to the hospital where he later died.

While police have called the incident "isolated", they are still trying to figure out what brought the two together at the parking lot near 2800 N. Taft Ave. to begin with that fateful night.

Walters, who has does have a criminal record that includes charges of theft, impersonation, restraining orders and drunken driving, has been booked on first-degree murder charges.

He is currently being held at Larimer County Detention Center without bond.

On his above MySpace profile, Walters calls himself “cryptic king lord black death” and on it writes that's he's fascinated with death as well as swords and is interested in such activities as BDSM, bondage and domination.

Another words, he was bound to grow up working the drive thru at the local Dairy Queen well into his 40's had he not been arrested for murder on Friday.

Pathologist: Dirty Diaper Killed Baby

Illinois--"A forensic pathologist testifying in the trial of a Peoria man charged in the death of his 5-month-old son says the child died from an infection brought on by a nearly week-old dirty diaper.

James Sargent is charged with first-degree murder in the February 2008 death of Benjamin Sargent. Pathologist Scott Denton on Tuesday testified on the second day the father's trial.

Denton says that the boy's diaper went unchanged for at least five days before his death.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old James Sargent and the boy's mother, 22-year-old Tracy Hermann, left the child without food or water in a car seat for eight days. Denton says the skin on the Benjamin Sargent's back and bottom had begun to decay, causing the infection that made him lapse into a coma and die."

I'm really beginning to think that some individuals here in the states should be licensed by the US Government to have children.  I cannot understand what kind of society we have become where we treat our children like they are pets.

Dustin Crenshaw Charged In Sex Assault Of Minor

Victim was man's common-law wife's sister:

Texas--A 27-year-old man has confessed to police that he sexually assaulted his common-law wife's 16-year-old sister during a camping trip.

Dustin Crenshaw, 27, of New Braunfels, told detectives that on April 11th, he entered the tent of the victim (who had passed out) and assaulted the drunk girl who had been sleeping.

The next morning, the unidentified minor told her sister what had happened and they subsequently contacted police.

Crenshaw was arrested after confessing to the crime.

Edwin Rico Arrested In Sting Operation

30 suspects tracked trading child porn:

An Internet sting conducted by the Utah Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has resulted in the arrest of five people.

The month long sting, which was called "intense", had been dubbed by authorities as "Operation April Fools" as the "joke was on Internet predators", said Attorney General Mark Shurtleff in a statement.

One of those arrested was 19-year-old Edwin Emmanual Rico, of Salt Lake City. His profile is viewable by clicking the photo above.

The four others individuals apprehend did not either have MySpace profiles or I was unable to conclusively identify them as a suspect.

Firefighter Adam Dinofsky Charged In Kid Porn Case

Bail set at $38,500:

A firefighter/paramedic has been arrested by Florida police after authorities recovered child pornography and marijuana at his home in Valrico.

Adam C. Dinofsky, has been charged with five counts of use of a child in a sexual performance and one count each of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dinofsky's bail has been set at $38,500.

While there are very few more noble positions than that of a firefighter I must say that I come across more people in that line of work charged in cases like these. I don't know what it is, the fumes or what but it's just mind boggling what the numbers are...at least on here anyway.

Ryan Clewell Charged With Soliciting MySpace Girls

Suspect used fake name to contact victims:

A 25-year-old Oshkosh, Wisconsin man could face up to 100 years in prison after being charged with six counts of soliciting a child for prostitution after allegedly using MySpace to solicit six young girls between 12 & 15 for sex.

Ryan A. Clewell, 25, admitted to police he made contact and arranged to meet various underage girls to perform sex acts for money. On one occasion Clewell engaged in sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old for $300, according to a complaint.

Clewell told officers that he created a fake identity, “Jamaal,” to contact the girls because he wanted to “create a degree of separation” and that ultimately his alter-ego became a “pimp” for him".

Clewell is currently being held on $5,000 cash bond.

Police: Calvin Lawson Killed Caroline Wimmer Over MySpace Rumor

Body of victim found by mother:

New York--A Brooklyn man has been arrested and charged with murder after he allegedly strangled a friend of his because she had purportedly been spreading rumors about him on MySpace.

Calvin Lawson, 28, is accused of wrapping a hair dryer cord around the neck of 26-year-old Caroline Wimmer and choking her until she died sometime on March 30th at her home in West Brighton.

Lawson is believed to have been over there to confront Wimmer, who reportedly had told his girlfriend that he had been cheating on her.

Wimmer lifeless body was found a day later by her own mother.

Erik Rutledge Accused Of Molesting Boy

Man allegedly posed as church volunteer:

Police in the state of Oklahoma say they have arrested a 21-year-old man who tried to lure various underage boys at a local Edmond skate park.

Erik Michael Rutledge, purportedly posed as a "church volunteer" at various local skating parks to lure young males into sexual activity. 

He was arrested after allegedly molesting a 14-year-old at the Cheyenne Middle School parking lot.

Russell Burnett Charged With Child Porn

Images recovered at suspect's home, say police:

Maryland state police say they have arrested a Fruitland man on child pornography charges.

Russell Glen Burnett, 43, is alleged to have solicited various children throughout his neighborhood to undress themselves so that he could take pictures of them.

Authorities say they have recovered several images of Burnett's activities at his home.

Anyone with more information on this case is asked to contact the Wicomico County Child Advocacy Center at 410-713-3900.

MySpace Contact Leads To Charges

Florida--A 28-year-old North Port man is in custody after being charged with attempted sexual battery and false imprisonment.

Police say the attacker, Steven Aldacosta, met the 20-year-old woman that using MySpace sometime last year.

According to The Herald Tribune:

"She told police that after exchanging messages online with Aldacosta for a week, she met him in Venice on April 9, 2008, where the two of them got Chinese takeout and ate together at the South Jetty in Venice.

After dinner, she followed Aldacosta to his North Port house, where he allegedly attacked her in his bedroom, pinning her to the bed and groping her.

When she tried to run, police say Aldacosta stopped her, throwing her on a couch in the living room, choking and slapping her before eventually letting her leave."

Aldacosta is scheduled to appear in court on attempted sexual battery and false imprisonment charges in late May.

Police: Mark Bovard Offered 11-Year-Old Money For Sex

Suspect being held without bail:

A Florida man has been arrested by police after he allegedly offered to pay an 11-year-old girl to perform sexual acts.

Mark Ray Bovard Jr., 23, of Eustis, was apprehended by officers after he arrived at the girl's home sometime on Sunday.

Bovard had purportedly solicited the young girl online.
