Convicted Sex Offender Charged With Rape Of MySpace Girl

Maryland--A convicted child rapist from Annapolis has been charged with second-degree rape after allegedly engaging in sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl he found on MySpace.

James Mason, 28, reportedly picked the girl and her three friends up and subsequently drove them to a rented home where he offered them both marijuana and alcohol.

Mason is then accused of taking the 13-year-old victim to a parking lot at a nearby store in Dundalk where police say he had sex with her. He then took her back to the rented home and had sex with her again, according to WTTG FOX 5.

Two other adults were reportedly also in the house at the time of the incident.
