Man Accused Of MySpace Sex Conversations


A 22-year-old Wisconsin man has been charged with sending online obscene messages to a 16-year-old girl.

Eric McKee, of Green Bay, admitting to sending messages to the victim as well as several other girls.

The victim was contacted using MyYearbook, but it gets much worse as a criminal complaint states he also sent messages over Myspace to girls between 11-13.

He faces up to 90 days in jail.

Police: MySpace Man Offered Girl Money For Sex


Oregon--A 36-year-old man is currently in jail awaiting $100,000 bail after detectives accuse of him trying to lure a child for sex using MySpace.

David Vance Pierce has been charge with second-degree online sexual corruption of a child and luring a minor, as well as prostitution.

According to the Mail Tribune:

"Pierce came to the attention of the task force when one of its forensic examiners investigating a separate and unrelated case found MySpace messages from an adult male to a 13-year-old girl in Central Point."
Pierce also offered the girl money in exchange for sexual acts, as well as allegedly soliciting another young teen from the state of Michigan.

Investigators believe Pierce used the names Keegan Smith and Michael Peyton on MySpace and other social network websites.

MySpace Chats Lands Suspect In Jail


Texas--Police have jailed a Houston man after they say he attempted to have sex with a 14-year-old girl.

Jose Sebastian Rivera, 21, reportedly met the alleged victim using MySpace where the two subsequently became friends and the suspect is accused of trying to meet her for sex.

The online girl repeatedly told Mr. Rivera that she was only 14, but he persisted until a meeting was set.

He was arrested by police after arriving at the meeting spot.

Man Appears In Court On MySpace Case


Washington--An Oak Harbor man has been charged with rape of a child in the second degree after being accused of engaging in sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl he met using MySpace.

Omar Ponce Barajas, 18, reportedly met the girl at a local carnival after chatting with her on and off for around a year, according to police.

Later on, the two allegedly had sex.

If convicted, Barajas could face eight and a half years in prison.

Police: Woman Posed As Boy On MySpace To Lure Girls


Suspect jailed after angry teen jilted:

A 31-year old Utah woman was arrested earlier this month after police say she posed as a teenage boy in order to lure two young girls for sexual related purposes.

Alexsa Mirabal, of Roy, is accused of using the name "Alex" on the once dominant social networking website for around two years in which he/she is believed to have amassed a substantial amount of female "friends".

According to detectives, the sexual relationships with the two unidentified teens occurred sometime before Mirabal revealed her true sex online.
